How Modalert works?
There is not much information on how the drug affects the brain but it is said to stimulate the wakefulness centers inside the brain. This results in better mental acuity and processing speed along with enhanced focus, energy and motivation. There are a number of mechanisms of action of this drug. It seems to be capable of crossing over the blood-brain barrier and entering the central nervous system from where it acts on the Dopamine transporter. This inhibits the reuptake of the neurotransmitters inside the brain. This inhibition leads to increased circulation of Dopamine that promotes better mental focus and stamina.
